I have been glimpsing a
little of what Mrs. Eddy means by telling us that we must do things NOW. She
refers to children doing that naturally – “The good they desire to do, they
insist upon doing now” (p.13/14). Having a batch of great-grandchildren around,
I realise that I see that in all they do. Mrs. Eddy goes on to say, “They
speculate neither on the past, present, nor future, but taking no thought for the
morrow, act in God’s time.”
I must do likewise, but I
note that, “Whatever needs to be done which cannot be done now, God
prepares the way for doing” (p. 12).
