How appropriate that last
week’s Lesson included John the Baptist’s query of Jesus on whether he was the
promised Messiah or not, and Jesus answering with some of the healings he had
accomplished: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are
cleansed, the deaf hear, the poor have the gospel preached to them
(Matt. 11: 2-6 CS Lesson-Sermon for 2nd December 2012).
Surely Peel is using just such
reasoning on behalf of Christian Science in this book.
