I get it!
How beautifully Mrs. Eddy puts it in the first paragraph of her Message to The Mother Church for 1900:
"If, indeed, we may be absent from the body and
present with the ever-present Love filling all space, time, and immortality –
then I am with thee, heart answering to heart, and mine to thine in the glow of
divine reflection."
The idea that Mrs. Eddy can be with us: when we consider that we are all man, the one, full reflection of the infinite God, good, it is obvious.
"Man. The compound idea of infinite Spirit; the spiritual image and likeness of God; the full representation of Mind." (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy 591:5).

Ed. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
(II Corinthians 5:8)

Thank you sooo much. This is VERY inspiring! Reminds me of some reasons why I am a Christian Scientist: 1. Under the tutelage of Our Pastor, the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures - "absent from body … present with ever-present Love." 2. "Follow your leader only so far as she follows Christ" ('01;'02). 3. Jesus, proved faith words through faith works. 4. "Solitary research," … "God's allness learned" through "revelation, reason, and demonstration." (S&H 109) 5. Testimony Meetings. 6. Learning and Living, as a Christian metaphysician out from the Truth of the spiritual paradigm. 7. "God is at once the centre and circumference of being." (S&H)
