In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, author Mary Baker Eddy has a wonderful statement: Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need. (See p. 494: 10-11). It correlates to many passages in Scripture, but today I'm thinking of this week's Golden Text from the Bible Lesson - Exodus 15:6 (to ;), 7 (to ;) from the Good News Translation in Today's English Version (2nd Edition):
Your right hand, Lord, is awesome
in power;...In majestic triumph you overthrow your foes.
The story of the building of the original Mother Church in Boston is proof of God's all-power -- the dear Father's awesome right hand -- but, of course, it had to be demonstrated on the human scene where dozens of different trades were involved and a strict deadline set. The 'foes' of delay and dissatisfaction seemed to pop up continually, but with 'rapid and continuous action by those in charge' all was kept 'moving together harmoniously' (p. 46, The Mother Church by Joseph Armstrong).
When a rearrangement was required to satisfy the municipality, and workmen were in protest mode, Armstrong writes that 'the Director in charge, knowing that in divine Mind no man can encroach upon his neighbor, assured the men they need fear no interference or molestation' with the result that 'the work went on smoothly as if each mechanic had the street to himself' (ibid. p. 49).
How divine Love was seen to be meeting every human need. And we can prove this promise to be so today.
